ArcGIS Map/ACPTGIS using Google Chrome

Recently a report was sent through Jira where certain issues began to appear with ArcGIS Map and ACPTGIS using Goggle Chrome. Some examples of issues that were occuring:

  • ArcGIS Map

    • Could not highlight pipeline or powerlines

    • Could not open Attribute information

    • Could not export pipes and powerlines to ACPTGIS

  • ACPTGIS

    • Could not section pipelines and powerlines

      • No control of the point and click through the mouse

    • Could not import map data to ACPTGIS

When an issue is noted, use the Settings and record the version of Chrome (See Below) that is being used which could assist in solving this problem. Also check for “Clean Up Computer” for Harmful Software.

After running several tests, it was found that Firefox corrected/fixed the above issues. This information needs to recorded in order that TT can develop a patch to accommodate any updates by Google Chrome.
